Store sample sewing is on hold for me. A local hospital has called for Olson Masks to be made. I was a doubter about the “it’s better than nothing” crowd. I thought that wearing a mask that was no better than a bandana in effectiveness may cause some to slack on proper precautions. These masks are for health professionals to better utilize dwindling medical supplies. These are masks made with a pattern and directions from the hospital. There is a lot of mis-information out there. Please before going all willynilly, make sure your masks are going to a situation where they are welcome and have the processes in place to accept them. Our medical system is going to be taxed enough without stuff to deal with. In my case the final steps are being completed at the hospital. They have that in place. Your hospital may not.
