The May Poweshiek Piecemakers Quilt Guild meeting will feature a presentation by Jan Krueger and Linda Marcou of Hearthside Quilter's Nook from Hales Corners, Wisconsin. The presentation is called "Scrap Busters" and will feature a trunk show, stories, fabric secrets, pattern ideas and a 12 page support booklet. Everyone is invited to attend. There will be a small fee for non-members. The Poweshiek Piecemakers meet on the second Tuesday of the month at Jackson Church of Christ in Montezuma. The meetings start at 6:30pm.

This morning I used the Hex N More ruler and Candy Dish pattern. It makes a pillow, but I am going to add borders instead for a table topper. I am really pleased with it.
